Your First Climbing Visit

Never climbed?
Perfect.

You don’t need to know the ropes to walk through our doors. Bring a little curiosity. Our team will help with the rest.

Here’s the plan

From “I’ve never climbed”
to “let’s do that again.”

01

Choose your adventure

Big-wall energy or playground discoveries? Each experience has its own admission.

Plan your day
02

Take care of the waiver

Everyone needs a waiver. A parent or legal guardian completes it for each minor.

Sign before you arrive
03

Show up ready for fun

Check your experience’s hours, bring your socks, and let’s make a good day happen.

01

Wear what moves

Comfortable athletic clothing and socks are a good start. Climbing shoes are included with a day pass. Harness rental is $5.

02

Meet the team

Check in at the front desk, get fitted, and take your required orientation. Ask questions. That’s what we’re here for.

03

Start at your level

Try an auto-belay route with staff guidance, or ask about a beginner class. Take breaks and build your confidence one move at a time.

Coming with children? A parent or legal guardian must complete each minor’s waiver. Children under 14 must stay with an adult.

Coming for the playground?

We have a
little world
for that.

Reserve a two-hour Adventures play session, bring non-slip socks for your child, and complete waivers for everyone in your group.

Parent and guardian admission is free. The playground has separate passes and hours from the climbing gym.

One less thing to wonder about

First-visit
questions.

Do I need climbing experience?
No. Our team welcomes beginners and provides an orientation before you start. Auto-belays are a helpful place to begin.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable athletic clothes that let you move, and bring socks. Avoid loose clothing that could catch on equipment.
Do you have rental equipment?
Yes. A climbing day pass includes shoe rental. A harness is available for an additional $5. Ask the team for help with fit and use.
Who needs to sign a waiver?
Every visitor, including spectators. A parent or legal guardian must complete the waiver for anyone under 18. Sign it before you arrive.
Can children climb?
There is no single minimum climbing age. Readiness depends on the child’s ability and equipment fit. Children under 14 must remain with an adult. Ask the team which activity fits your child.
Do I need a partner?
Auto-belays allow climbing without a climbing partner after a staff orientation. Top-rope climbing requires a belayer who meets the gym’s requirements.

A little planning. A great day.
